GOTF 2026 wants you! Become a volunteer in Astana
The Games of the Future 2026 is coming to Astana, Kazakhstan from 29 July to 9 August. Combining digital competition with real-world action, is the highlight of the phygital calendar and promises to be a sporting spectacular.
Now they’re building a volunteer team – and they want you.
The Volunteer Program officially launched at the QAZAQSTAN Athletics Complex in Astana and saw hundreds of students, youth leaders, volunteer organizations, media, and city representatives come together to celebrate.
The event also saw the reveal of the official volunteer uniform, along with what volunteers can expect in return for joining up — from support and training to being part of a global community.
We’re looking for people who want to be part of something different — to meet new people, gain real experience, and be at the center of the action.
To apply, you should:
- Be 16 or older
- Have a good level of English (B2 or higher)
- Be a team player with a positive attitude
- Be reliable and ready to commit
- Be available for training before and during the Games
- Be able to provide your own transportation and accommodation in Astana (if required)
You don’t need previous experience — just the motivation to get involved.
You'll also get an official uniform, meals on shift days, full training before the Games, and a certificate you can use on your CV. More than that — you'll be on the inside of a global event watched by hundreds of millions of people.
