Battle of Robots

Introducing Battle of Robots
Battle of Robots sees teams battle against each other in the perfect union of 'man and machine’. Each team has created their own unique remote controlled, armed and armored machines – with one thing in mind - to destroy their opposition. Metal clashes with metal in fast-paced, heart-pumping competition. It’s pure mechanical warfare.
Competition Format
Sixteen teams take part in the competition, with the organizers deciding the pairings for the opening round matches. After the first round, the winners proceed through the quarterfinals, semifinals, a third-place match, and the final.
Each match is a single contest between two robots and lasts three minutes. The match ends when either the time runs out or one of the robots loses its ability to move.
There are also additional matches for the losers of the first round to confirm the final rankings from ninth to sixteenth place.
Teams
Each team has between two and five athletes. Athletes of all ages and genders can take part.
How winner is decided
The winner of each match is determined in one of two ways:
- either by having the highest score when the time expires, where scoring is based on three indicators evaluated by the referees: Damage, Aggression, and Control
- or by being the only robot still fully functioning while the opponent is damaged or flipped over and unable to move.
The winner of the competition is the team that wins the final.
