Just Dance Brings the Ultimate Dance Battle to GOTF 2026
Just Dance, the game that turned living rooms into dance floors, will return as the official title for Phygital Dancing at the Games of the Future 2026, taking over Barys Arena from 6-7 August with a US$75,000 prize pool on the line.
One of the event’s most uplifting disciplines, Phygital Dancing blends gaming, music and live performance into a high-energy competition where athletes must combine perfect timing, rhythm and stage presence to win over both the judges and the crowd.
With less than two months to go, the final lineup of competitors is already taking shape. Mokonanye Angelo, Franco Vitali, Dion Visser, Konstantin Fominykh and Daniil Charapko have secured their spots through the 2025/26 WPC season rankings. They will be joined by Andres Guardo, Sagdi, Susan Huertas, Sergio Mayta, Viagonce, who is a runner-up of the Games of the Future Abu-Dhabi 2025, and Lala Gevorgyan all of whom came out on top at Phygital Contenders Astana 2026 (10-14 June) and secured qualification for GOTF 2026.
Phygital Dancing is one of eight disciplines due to be contested across 12 days of competition at GOTF 2026, with 800+ participants from over 50 nationalities and more than 100,000 fans expected in the Kazakhstani capital.
Adding even more energy to the week, Comic Con Astana will run alongside GOTF 2026 from 5-9 August, turning Astana into a city-wide celebration of gaming, pop culture and entertainment for fans and participants.
More updates on publishers, team qualification, and broadcast plans will be shared on official Phygital International and GOTF channels.
Audiences can follow the latest updates on the official Games of the Future 2026 website and revisit highlights from previous editions on Phygital+, Phygital International’s dedicated streaming platform.
