All champions crowned! Games of the Future 2026 ends in Astana
That’s a wrap in Astana! After 12 days of intense competition, dramatic plot twists and unforgettable moments, the Games of the Future 2026 powered by Samruk-Kazyna has come to a close.
More than 800 participants from over 50 nationalities competed across eight disciplines for a prize pool of over US$4 million, bringing together established sports and esports organizations, defending champions and some of the most exciting emerging phygital teams from around the world.
And the level of competition did not disappoint.
Across the Games of the Future, the margins became increasingly fine as teams were tested across both the digital and physical elements of competition. Established names were challenged, favorites were pushed to their limits and new contenders emerged, demonstrating just how quickly the competitive standard of phygital sport continues to rise.
From the precision and strategy of MOBA PC (Dota 2) and MOBA Mobile (MLBB), to the combination of digital skill and physical performance demanded by Phygital Football, Phygital Basketball, Phygital Fighting, Phygital Dancing and Phygital Shooter, the Games of the Future showcased the breadth of the phygital format and the different skills required to succeed at the highest level.
