Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is officially returning to this summer's Games of the Future 2026, bringing one of mobile esports’ biggest and most competitive titles back to the global stage.
The discipline will bring together sixteen teams invited by the Games of the Future, featuring a mix of returning competitors from GOTF 2025 and new challengers making their Games of the Future debut. The lineup reflects the tournament's growing reach across the global MLBB competitive landscape. The sixteen teams set to compete are:
| Bumblebees | Bigetron by Vitality | PRO Esports | Geekay Esports |
| Aurora Gaming | Bushido Wildcats | Team Spirit | FUT Esports |
| Alpha7 | Entity7 | DFYG | The MongolZ |
| Team Falcons | Team Vamos | ONIC | Selangor Red Giants |
From 6-9 August, teams from around the world will compete in MOBA Mobile at the Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov Martial Arts Palace in Astana, battling it out in a five-on-five format for a share of the huge US$900,000 prize pool.
With more than one billion downloads worldwide, MLBB has grown into one of the biggest titles in mobile esports. Its fast-paced gameplay, high-pressure team fights, and massive international competitive circuit have helped build a huge global fanbase across multiple regions.
MLBB made a major impact at the Games of the Future 2025 in Abu Dhabi, where ONIC, led by start player Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol, defeated Aurora Gaming and Mehmet “Lunar” Ilgun in the grand final to lift the MOBA Mobile trophy. The competition quickly became one of the standout moments of the event and helped drive huge engagement across global audiences.
The MOBA competitions drew a total 207M views at GOTF 2025 – making them the most watched disciplines from the event.
MLBB will once again feature alongside Dota 2 as part of the MOBA lineup at GOTF 2026, adding even more star power to this summer’s competition.
The Games of the Future 2026 takes place across Astana from 29 July-9 August and is expected to welcome more than 800 participants from over 50 nationalities, alongside more than 100,000 fans across venues citywide.
