Team Spirit carried that momentum into the second game, dominating from the outset, destroying four turrets within the first 10 minutes to seal another convincing victory and a place in the decider round.
"Our journey has just begun at the Games of the Future, so I wouldn't say we're celebrating yet. I think we were well prepared for the draft pick, and it worked well for us. Looking ahead to the main stage tomorrow, we haven't seen it yet, so we'll experience it for the first time and see how it goes." – Kemiran "SunsetLover" Kochkarov, Team Spirit
TEAM VAMOS 2-0 Bushido Wildcats
TEAM VAMOS kept their tournament hopes alive with a 2-0 victory over Bushido Wildcats, ending their opponents' GOTF 2026 campaign. TEAM VAMOS controlled the opening game from start to finish, building an early advantage before a four-player wipeout helped them close out the contest in just over 11 minutes. Bushido Wildcats produced a much stronger performance in game two, taking early control of the map and destroying two turrets, but TEAM VAMOS turned the game around with a decisive mid-game team fight. Although Bushido Wildcats briefly delayed defeat with a four-player elimination in their own base, TEAM VAMOS quickly regained control to complete the series victory.
Team Falcons 2-1 DIAN FENG YAO GUAI
Team Falcons secured a place in the quarterfinals after overcoming DIAN FENG YAO GUAI (DFYG) in a hard-fought series. Team Falcons produced an almost flawless display in the opener, controlling the match throughout to take an early lead. DFYG responded impressively in game two, dictating the tempo from the beginning before a pair of decisive late-game team fights helped level the series. The deciding game remained evenly balanced through the early stages before Team Falcons capitalized on a costly aggressive mistake from DFYG, steadily took control of the map by destroying multiple turrets, and eventually closed out the series following a decisive late-game battle in their favor.
"It feels really good to reach the quarterfinals, but at the same time I want to be even stronger so we can beat every team here. Today's matchup was a little hard, but we managed to win because we played our game and gave it our best. I think our draft picks were good, but we still have a lot to improve from this match, and we'll work on those areas in practice.” – David “Flap” Charles Canon, Team Falcons
Bigetron by Vitality 2-0 FUT Esports
Bigetron by Vitality became the second club to secure a place in the quarterfinals after defeating FUT Esports. FUT Esports made the stronger start to the opening game before Bigetron by Vitality fought back by winning a decisive team fight around the six-minute mark to seize control of the match. The second game was closely contested in the early stages with teams destroying an equal number of turrets. Bigetron by Vitality gradually gained the upper hand as FUT Esports were punished for a series of costly errors, allowing Bigetron by Vitality to take control and complete the 2-0 victory. Arifin "Finn" Hikmatullah anchored the team performance with a flawless display in game two, recording one kill, 12 assists and no deaths.
"I think our draft was perfect today, and we were able to apply what we have been practicing in scrims. That said, I don't think our game is perfect yet. We are always trying our best to improve and get closer to a perfect performance in every match. I'm happy to be heading into the quarterfinals and playing on the main stage in front of the audience. It's my first time in Kazakhstan, so I'm excited to experience the crowd and the atmosphere here." – Eman “Emann” Sangco, Bigetron by Vitality
PRO ESPORTS 2-0 ALPHA7
PRO ESPORTS kept their Games of the Future 2026 campaign alive with a convincing 2-0 victory over ALPHA7, eliminating their opponents from the competition. The opening game remained closely contested through the early stages before PRO ESPORTS seized control with a decisive four-player team fight in the 14th minute. Although ALPHA7 held firm to force the game into the late stages, PRO ESPORTS steadily broke through the defense to claim the opener. Aurora Gaming 2-0 The MongolZ
Aurora Gaming produced one of the most dominant displays of the tournament so far to defeat The MongolZ 2-0. Aurora Gaming seized control early and dominated the remainder of the opening game, leaving The MongolZ with little opportunity to respond. The second game followed a similar pattern, with Aurora Gaming once again dictating the pace from start to finish to complete an emphatic straight-games victory. SRG responded impressively in game two to level the series before carrying that momentum into the decider. Muhammad Danish Fitri "Unii" Razman of SRG led the charge with 12 kills and five assists, while John "Innocent" Vincent Banal of SRG added three kills and 10 assists, with both players finishing the deciding game without a death.
ONIC 2-0 Geekay Esports
ONIC are through to the quarterfinals with their 2-0 victory over Geekay Esports. The opening game was one of the closest contests of the day, with neither side able to build a significant advantage through the opening 11 minutes. The deadlock was finally broken by a decisive team fight that saw four Geekay Esports players eliminated, allowing ONIC to push through and claim the opener. ONIC carried that momentum into game two, producing a much more commanding performance to complete the straight-games victory.
Coach Allen "Baloyskie" Baloy from ONIC said: "I'd rate our performance nine out of 10. We played well, but there's still room to improve. The first game stayed very even because Geekay Esports played patiently and farmed well, and they didn't capitalize on some of the opportunities they had. Once the team fights started in the mid game, everything changed in our favor."
