The next challengers are here: GOTF 2026 lineup grows

26/06/2026

The lineup for next month’s Games of the Future Astana 2026 is nearly complete, with four more teams earning direct spots across four phygital disciplines – Phygital Football, Phygital Basketball, Phygital Dancing and MOBA PC.

The confirmed teams heading to Astana are:

  • Phygital Football: FC 10
  • Phygital Basketball: Flow Game Basketball
  • Phygital Dancing: Umutcan Tütüncü
  • MOBA PC: GLYPH

The latest spots were awarded through the World Phygital Community (WPC) Incentive Program, which gives WPC Gold Members the chance to nominate standout athletes and teams from around the world. Phygital International (PI) evaluated the applications using a comprehensive scoring model that assessed the following criteria: the competitive level of each individual player, the social media reach of each player and club multiplied by follower count, the submitted media plans, and the potential for commercial activations. Full results are available on the WPC website.

These new names will join a global roster of athletes and teams who have already qualified to compete on the biggest stage in phygital sport.

The phygital stage in Astana awaits

From 29 July to 9 August, more than 800 participants from over 50 countries will come together to compete across eight disciplines, including Phygital Football, Phygital Basketball, Phygital Dancing, Phygital Shooter, Phygital Fighting, MOBA PC, MOBA Mobile and Battle Royale. They will be competing for glory, plus a share of the US$4m+ prize pool.
