PUBG: Battlegrounds brings Battle Royale action to Astana!
PUBG: Battlegrounds is officially coming to the Games of the Future 2026 as the title for the tournament’s Battle Royale discipline.
From 31 July-2 August, Beeline Arena in Astana, Kazakhstan, will host teams from around the world as they battle for a share of a massive US$1,000,000 prize pool.
Known for its high-pressure gameplay, tactical decision-making, and chaotic final-circle moments, PUBG: Battlegrounds has built one of the most competitive global esports scenes in gaming. Now, the title will take center stage at the Games of the Future 2026 with players battling desperately to win the famous chicken dinner prize.
With only one team able to claim the chicken dinner each match, every decision matters. From early-game drops to late-circle fights, the Battle Royale discipline is built around pressure and survival, with momentum swings often changing the standings instantly.
Battle Royale will be one of eight disciplines featured at GOTF 2026, which takes place from 29 July-9 August across Astana. The event is expected to welcome more than 800 participants from over 50 nationalities, alongside more than 100,000 visitors in venues citywide.
